I’m still glowing thinking about my birthday party [turned 109 in January].
It makes me want to have more.
My mantra:
I am one lucky guy.
P.S. Chorito and I watched one of my favorite movies titled “The Notebook” – It brought tears to our eyes.
Parts of it brought parallels to Betty and my lives.
I will always remember Betty’s arms around me.
“Morrie, when are we going home?”
We are home, I told her.
She died in my arms.
I think of her often.
I always will.

… My life is filled with being present at “historic” events.
I didn’t plan them, they just happened.
I wrote a book, “Keep Breathing,” and when I read it I realize how much of my life story I left out.
At the age of 109, my memory is fading.
As my wise close friend Ruby said, “Boss, that’s the way it is.”
So true.
